How to Choose the Best Med Spa in Denver
A no-fluff guide to vetting providers, pricing, and treatments before you book.

Hi beauties!

Denver — June 18, 2026

Denver is full of med spas. Some are excellent. Some are not-so-great. If you are about to book your first treatment — or you are switching providers because your last one ghosted you — here is how to choose well.

1. Look for licensed providers, not just pretty branding

In Colorado, lasers and injectables must be performed or supervised by licensed medical professionals (RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, or licensed estheticians). Ask who will actually perform your treatment, what their training is, and how long they have been doing it. A good med spa will answer this without hesitation.

2. Ask what device they use — and why

Not all lasers are equal. A diode laser is great for hair removal on lighter skin tones but can be risky for deeper skin tones. The Chrome Lase-Station we use at Dewskin was specifically chosen because it is safe and effective across all Fitzpatrick skin types — that matters in a city as diverse as Denver. If a spa cannot tell you the make, model, and why they chose it, walk away.

3. Demand transparent pricing

"Call for pricing" is a red flag. Reputable Denver med spas publish their starting prices online. At Dewskin every service page lists clear starting prices (microneedling from $300, laser hair removal from $75, custom facials from $150) so you know what you are walking into.

4. Free consultations should actually be free

A real consultation is 30 minutes of skin analysis, history, and a custom plan — not a high-pressure upsell. Look for spas that offer free in-studio or virtual consultations and that send you home with a written plan rather than a credit-card swipe.

5. Read reviews — but read the responses

Every spa has a bad review or two. What you want to see is how the owner responds: with empathy and a fix, or with defensiveness. Google reviews are usually more honest than curated testimonials on the spa''s own site.

6. Match the treatment to your actual goal

If your goal is "glow before a wedding," you do not need filler — you need a bridal skincare plan built around facials and a peel timed correctly. If your goal is "fade acne scars," you probably need microneedling over four to six sessions, not a single $1,200 laser pass. A great Denver med spa will sometimes talk you out of the treatment you came in asking for.

The Dewskin difference

We are a Denver-based med spa built around one idea: skincare that actually works, explained in plain English, with no hard sell. Every treatment plan starts with a free consultation. Every laser session is performed on the Chrome Lase-Station with provider-level expertise. Every price is on the website.
